Day 1 : ARRIVAL IN ATHENS
Arrival in Athens, transfer to your hotel.

Day 2 : ATHENS SIGHTSEEING
This tour gives you an opportunity to observe the striking contrasts that make Athens such a fascinating city. Our expert guides take you to see the centre of the city, Constitution square (Syntagma), the House of Parliament, the Memorial to the unknown soldier and the National Library.
Driving down Herod Atticus street, you will see the Evzones in their picturesque uniform and the Presidential Palace. On your way to the Acropolis you will see the Handrian’s Arch, visit the Temple of Olympian Zeus and you will make a short stop at the Panathinaic Stadium where the first Olympic Games of the modern era were held in 1896. On the Acropolis visit the architectural masterpieces of the Golden Age of Athens: the Propylaea, The Temple of Athena Nike, The Erechtheion, and finally “the harmony between material and spirit”, the monument that “puts order in the mind”, The Parthenon.
You complete the visit with the Museum of Acropolis.

Day 3 : DAY CRUISE TO HYDRA - POROS - AEGINA
Pick up from hotel early in the morning and transfer by coach to the port for embarkation. At 08:15 the cruise ship departs and sails to the island of Hydra, the famous cosmopolitan Greek island with big history and unique architecture, paved streets and imposing mansions. You will spend approximately one-hour free time to explore this unique island. Embarkation and sail to the island of Poros, separated from Peloponnese by a narrow strait, offering the most enchanting view of Poros town. Enjoy an evergreen island with unsurpassed natural beauty, surrounded by thousands of pine trees. Leisure time in Poros for approximately 60 minutes.
After two hours trip, we shall arrive to the last stop, the island of Aegina, where there will be enough time to make an optional tour visiting the Temple of Afea or to discover the picturesque town of the island on your own. Being the first capital of modern Greece is one of the most beautiful islands, well known for its culture, religious sites as well as the famous pistachios. Total free time to be spent is one and a half hour.
Lunch is served on board during the sail. Re-embarkation and sailing back to the port of Athens. Arrive late in the afternoon and transfer by coach back to your hotel.

Day 4 : DAILY TOUR TO ARGOLIS (MYCENAE – NAFPLIO -EPIDAURUS)
Explore the remains of the ancient city of Mycenae, a major center of Greek civilization from 1600BC to 1100BC and the archaeological treasure of Epidaurus. Follow in the footsteps of the ancient Greeks on this fascinating and carbon- neutral full day excursion.
Depart from Athens via the coastal National highway for the strategically important Corinth canal (short stop).
After the Corinth canal, we enter the region of Argolis, land of Homer’s Golden Mycenae, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Dating back to the second century B.C., Mycenae was one of the major centers of Greek civilization and a military stronghold which dominated much of southern Greece. Avoid and skip the lines of the archaeological site, home to the kingdom of mythical Agamemnon. You will see the Cyclopean Walls, the Lion’s Gate, the Royal Tombs, including Agamemnon Clytemnestra's, and the Treasury of Atreus, a magnificent 14th-century B.C. structure.
Afterward, stop in the beautiful seaport of Nafplio the first capital of modern Greece with its Venetian fortress of PALAMIDI and the fortified islet of BOURTZI (short stop). Lunch (optional) in a restaurant beside the sea with amazing views of Bourtzi islet in the middle of the Port. Continue to Epidaurus and visit the ancient theatre. The UNESCO’S world heritage listed monument is reputed to be the birthplace of Apollo's son Asklepios, the healer and was the most celebrated healing center of the classical world. Epidaurus is probably most famous for its theatre, one of the best preserved classical Greek buildings and still used today due to its amazing acoustics.
Your day trip ends back to Athens late in the afternoon.

Day 5 : DAILY TOUR TO DELFI
One day trip from Athens to explore the UNESCO-listed Archaeological Site of Delphi with an expert guide and learn how the city was considered the ‘Center of the World’ in ancient Greece and today one of the most famous archaeological sites of Greece.Along the way, you will see the plain of Boeotia, an agricultural center and you will also pass by the city of Theva, the birthplace of King Oedipus.
Immerse yourself in the myths and monuments of classical Greece on this full-day tour of Delphi from Athens. After meeting your guide in Athens, hear tales about the ancient Greeks and their lives in Delphi while traveling to the town by air-conditioned coach. You will reach Delphi towards Mt. Parnassos, making a short rest stop outside the town of Levadia.
First stop is a tour of the Delphi archaeological site – a UNESCO World Heritage Site and easily one of the most important digs in Europe. Avoid and skip the lines of the archaeological site and walk around the evocative ruins with your guide, see famous monuments like the monument of the Argive Kings, the treasury of the Athenians, the Athenian Stoa, the Polygonal Wall, the monument of Platea and the Temple of Apollo famous for its oracle. Second stop is Delphi Museum, with its spectacular exhibits include the frieze of the Treasury of the Sifnians, the Athena Pronaia Sanctuary, the Naxian Sphinx, the Statue of Antinoos the metopes of the Athenian treasury, the famous bronze Charioteer, originally created to commemorate a victory during the 476 B.C.
Pythian Games, and many other artifacts. Be sure to check out the bronze Charioteer of Delphi and the Sphinx of Naxos. Return to Athens passing by the picturesque mountain village of Arachova, built on the south slopes of Parnassus, well known for its attractive hand-woven carpets, rugs and quilts, as well as for its wine and cheese (short photo stop).

Day 6 : FLIGHT TO SANTORINI - HALF DAY TAXI TOUR
Early breakfast and transfer to Athen’s airport. You will fly to Santorini Island at 08.00 and arrive around 09.00. After dropping our bags to the hotel, you will enjoy a half day taxi tour with a local English-speaking driver.
You decide what places you'd like to visit. You can choose this type of tour for photo shooting, wine tasting, spending some time on the beach, for visiting traditional villages and faraway places, for special interests’ tour or for a romantic time in Santorini.

Day 7 : FLIGHT TO ATHENS - HALF DAY SUNSET TOUR CAPE SOUNION & TEMPLE OF POSEIDON
Check out from the hotel and flight back to Athens at 12.00. Transfer to the hotel and free time. In the afternoon enjoy a half-day tour to Cape Sounion and experience a breathtaking sunset at the unique temple of Poseidon, the God of the Seas in ancient times.

Arriving at the Cape Sounion, explore the Temple of Poseidon at your own pace, with its magnificent panoramic view of the Aegean Sea (on a clear day you can see at least seven islands). One of its columns has graffiti left by none other than Lord Byron in the early 1800s. Cape Sounion has long played an important part in Greek mythology and history, and the first recorded mention of it occurs in the Odyssey, as the last safe landing before Poseidon scattered the returning Greek navy. As God of the sea, Poseidon was very important for ancient Greeks, and the scale of the Temple at Cape Sounion reflects that.
After visiting the Temple, filled with the beauty, the history and the culture of this site we will wait to admire one of the most amazing sunsets you could ever imagine.
